Vasastan runs from Tegnérgatan in the south up past Odenplan, with Barnhusviken and Karlbergssjön on its western edge. We cover all of it, and the neighbouring parts of the city too. Mostly apartment buildings

The big wave of building in Vasastan started south of Odengatan, under the city plan from the 1880s. North of Odenplan, the buildings from around 1910–1920 went up as five-storey blocks instead of four. If you live in a flat, you most likely have a street door with a code and a steel security door on your own flat.

That last door causes a lot of lockouts. It closes by itself and locks as it closes. People get caught on the landing on the way to the bin room, the laundry room or the post.

Before you call

When you call us

Give the address, the door code ("portkod") if you know it, and your floor. Tell us what happened. Then you get the price: a booked daytime opening is from SEK 1 295, and evening, night and weekend calls are priced on the phone. No charge for distance.

At the door, we check your ID and that you live there. Passport, residence permit card, Swedish ID: all fine. If your ID is inside, we check it right inside the door. Payment is by card or Swish; the receipt comes with it.
