How it works

Fixed price on the phone, before we drive

Tell us about the door, the lock and what happened. You get a fixed price for your job before we drive, and that is the price on the receipt. No extras without your yes.

Included

The drive to your address anywhere in the Stockholm region, non-destructive opening, the ID check and a receipt. However long the opening takes.

Only with your yes

A new cylinder if the lock is broken or the keys are gone, or drilling if a clean opening fails. You hear the price first and decide.

Payment

Card · Swish · invoice for businesses. You pay on site when the job is done.

The two prices we publish

Lock opening, booked, daytime: from SEK 1 295. This is a planned opening during office hours.

Lock change: from SEK 1 495, labour included. The lock or cylinder itself is extra, because it depends on what your door needs.

Everything else is priced on the phone. That includes openings in the evening, at night, at weekends and on public holidays, and the price of a new cylinder or lock. An emergency call-out outside office hours costs more than a booked daytime job. How much, you hear before you decide.

Why we don't list every price

A price list with ten lines and footnotes is hard to read in a cold stairwell, and even harder in a second language. So we do it the other way round. You tell us what happened and what the door looks like. We give you one number for your job. That number is the one on your receipt.

What changes the price

On the call we ask a few things. The answers set the price:

  • What happened. Locked out, lost keys, a broken key, a break-in.
  • The door and the lock. A standard apartment door, a steel security door, a house door with two locks, a smart lock.
  • When. A booked daytime job, or an emergency now.
  • Whether you want a new cylinder. Only if you ask for it or need it.

What doesn't change the price: the distance. There is no extra charge for distance anywhere we drive.

VAT and receipts

All prices include Swedish VAT ("moms"). You get a receipt for every job, showing what we did and what we replaced. Keep it for your insurer or your landlord.

Paying

Card and Swish (the Swedish mobile payment app) are accepted on site. If you don't have Swish, card works fine. Businesses and housing associations (BRF) can ask to pay by invoice.

Will my insurance pay?

Sometimes. Swedish home insurance ("hemförsäkring") often covers a lock change after a break-in, and some policies cover lost or stolen keys. A simple lockout is rarely covered. Check your policy and keep the receipt. See after a break-in.
