A district of garden suburbs

Bromma is different from the inner city. The City of Stockholm began building garden suburbs here in 1913, starting at Äppelviken and working out towards Nockeby. The old garden suburb of Bromma grew from the 1910s until the Second World War. Garden suburbs mean houses as well as flats, and the Nockebybanan tram has served part of the area since the 1920s.

For us, that means different doors. A house front door often has two locks: a lock case in the door and an extra deadlock above it. Some have a back door or a patio door too. When you call, tell us which door, and which locks are locked. A house with a garden also means more ways in to check before we start.

Getting here

Coming from the city, the high bridge at Traneberg, built in 1934 and renovated in 2005, is a route you may know. Bromma airport, opened in 1936, is a landmark you can use to describe where you are if you are new to the area.

House lockouts

• Front door locked, keys inside. Common in the morning rush. We open without damage first.
• Patio door locked from the inside. If the front door is also locked, tell us. Sometimes one is easier than the other.
• Keys lost. In a house, the keys often open more than one door. If your address could be linked to them, consider changing the cylinders. We can do it on the same visit.
• Smart lock dead. Try emergency power first. See smart locks.

Price

One fixed amount on the phone. A booked daytime opening is from SEK 1 295. A lock change is from SEK 1 495 including labour, plus the cylinder. Evening, night and weekend calls are priced on the phone. No charge for distance. We always check ID and that you live there before we open. Card and Swish both work, and a receipt is part of every job.
